Podocarpus leaves as mulch?

brownmolaFebruary 17, 2014

I have a large Podocarpus that sheds an enormous amount of leaves. Can I use these as mulch for container strawberries and blueberries? Or is there something in those types of leaves that would not be suitable for that?

Thanks.

I would think that Podocarpus would be OK to use. You may want to post on the Soil Compost and Mulch site in here to confirm.

Good Luck.
