Funky apple leaves

What's up with these new apple leaves? The rest of the tree is leading out normally. These have looked this way for 3 weeks.

Looks like powdery mildew. There are organic and conventional sprays. I'd cut out the infected parts.

Thanks! that's what it seems to be. Looks like a localized problem.

We are entering spring here in Socal, which means less rain and moisture, so I don't think it will be a continuing problem this season.

I will cut it out for sure, and wherever it pops up again.

Clearly powdery mildew, and issue here for us in S. Calif. You can spray with appropriate fungicides specific for powdery mildew.
