Hedgerow trees misaligned. Do you care?

If your newly planted trees are off by 4 to 6 inches in either direction, do you bother with correcting them or do you take the opinion that once they become large caliper trunks in a few seasons, 4 inches in misalignment won't matter?

Nah, I wouldn't worry about it. You might accidentally break some roots if you dug them up to move them.
