Soil mix for Mullberry

yawineyFebruary 5, 2013

Any pointers on soil mix for burming up a spot for a Mullberry. What do they like? I need to add because my water table is high in winter. The native soil is good sandy loam with more clay lower down.

Good sandy loam will work as well as anything. So just pile up some of your topsoil or buy something similar.

Well, I can't say exactly what my native soil here is made of, but I'm in the middle of a pine forest and I know that my mulberry tree has absolutely taken off here.
