My daughter wants to purchase Roxbury Russet, Ashmead's Kernal, and Belle de Boskoop. Cummin's only has 1. Anyone have an opinion on Trees of Antiquity or know of another place to purchase them? Thanks! sam
Trees of Antiquity gets an A+ from me. I've never failed to be impressed with their trees. They are pricey but worth it for sure. That being said, I prefer the Geneva series rootstocks that Cummins has. Most of my apples have come from Cummins. The problem is that they start selling in September and by now are low on selection.

Century Farm Orchards, Fedco, and Vintage Virginia Apples are other good places for heirlooms.
Trees of Antiquity often has trees of better diameter than east coast sources IME. The owners are very nice people and I believe very honest although some Winesaps I got from them seem to be Stayman- very sweet apples. All others have been true to label.
Most of my orchard's trees have come from Century Farm. Very professional operation. Another one is Big Horse Creek Farm, also in NC. Big selection.
