Quick! Do I bring in my new Sweetcrisp blueberry?

Chelsea_2016(7b)February 26, 2014

Hi,
I know blueberry bushes are supposed to be able to handle freezing temps, but my new 3 year old Sweetcrisp that I got in the mail has new buds growing. Zero experience here, so I don't know if they are flower buds or what. And I remember reading about "late" frosts killing off flower buds therefore stunting fruit production.
Here's a pic. Should I bring it in the garage tonight?

Hmm, it must have come from a warm place. I would bring that guy in since its already starting to bud out. It can take down to about 25F at that stage.

Anything below 28 degrees will kill your flower buds once they start to swell. Get it in doors!
