Inca plum

Got this bad boy in the ground this year. Had a big bloom, but none of the blossoms set fruit. Does the inca plum need a polinator? Anyone have any experience with this plum?

Talked to a wholesaler about this variety once. He didn't think it needed a pollinator. Bloomed early for him in the Central Valley. Preferred by staff at nursery, but it gets split pits and was abandoned commercially long ago.

Thanks, might just be the first year that doesn't set fruit. The tree is about 3 years old.
