Well look at the bright side. Y'all have more winter chill than anything would need. Every year for me is a "gamble" on whether I get fruit like sweet cherries or even some of my Japanese plums.

The lemon guava has a very sweet acid flavor. It's delicious IMO. More like an ultrasweet passionfruit flavor than lemon.

I have early yellow peaches, not sure what kind. It wakes up in late January just before my roses do so I called it rooster. Now we refer to it as Cogburn's peach. How big do they have to grow before I can begin thinning?
