Training carmine jewel cherry to look like a tree
im thinking about putting in a cherry tree this spring. I live in town and my wife hates my plants so it is going to have to look nice. ive been going back and forth between a northstar or trying for sweeter carmine jewel/crimson passion bush cherries; every nursery calls them ornamental but they look really wild and bushy in pictures ive found online which isn't going to fly for me, but ive seen a couple sites say they can be trained into tree form. do the look nice as trees or wild and scraggly? would you train them the same as a standard cherry tree? if anyone has a good pic or info let me know thanks.
