I would like details of how to prepare Horse Chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum) for medicinal purposes, with parts used, and recommended dosages, please.

Daisy, use the fruit of the horse chestnut. The nut itself. You can make a tincture. Use dried, chopped horse chestnuts. Macerate in 50% grain alcohol and 50% distilled water. Let sit for a few weeks. Dosage depends on a few factors. Start at 5 drops a day and work up to 20 drops per day, if needed.
