conserving moisture in grafts
A lot of my grafts have just gone in late for variety of reasons, including ran out of grafting tape. Trees are just beginning bud-break.
It's SoCal, and we just had our first 80 degree day, and humidity is quite low, windy & bright sun.
I am thinking the budwood may get dried out. Is there something I should do to conserve moisture?
Wrap the budwood in plastic baggies, saran wrap or wet paper towel?
Or just not worry about it?
