Alternative ideas for dormant fruit tree spraying?

dirtslinger2(6)April 15, 2012

Over the last week I have sprayed around 150 dormant fruit trees with the lime-sulpher/dormant oil.

I gather it is certified organic approved, but I do NOT like the idea of oversprayed oil wafting all over the ground below trees.

Can I use canola oil, or any more biodegradable oil? Any ideas on emulsifiers?

Would like to hear any opinions on this. Thanks
