Best black currant for making Cassis (lambic)
I been constantly buying Lindeman's black currant lambic (aka 'cassis') this month.
Thats some good stuff. Think its my new favorite light alcoholic drink.
Prefer it much more than cider...
Has a slightly more tart flavor than rasberry lambic (aka 'framboise').
Anyone make their own cassis? What black currants are good for this... the 'pungent strong' ones, the sweeter ones (Crandall?), etc.
