Yellowing Leaves on Honeyberry

Bradybb(wa8)April 22, 2013

This is the second year for these two plants.Last year they didn't have this odd color to the leaves.
Is it Chlorosis?I've read to fertilize them in May and October, but I gave them some all purpose fertilizer today to see if it makes a difference.
It's been wet and cool lately.Maybe that is causing it.
I also sprayed some Fung-onil with Chlorothalonil in it on a Nectarine nearby, a few times during early Spring and they may have caught a little over spray, but they weren't leafing out at the time.I don't know if they have a sensitivity to it. Thanks,Brady

It's a Lonicera. So have you looked for mites on the undersides of the leaves?

Thanks very much!I checked not too long after reading your reply. They look like Whiteflies to me and lots of their eggs.
I have some spray made from different flower parts and doused the tops and bottoms of the leaves.
I also have a Plum tree that has some leaf tips that are curling and as I pulled one open, either Mites or Whiteflies were in there too,so they got sprayed. Thanks again,Brady

A little too large and randomly placed for insect eggs; reminds me of aphid nymphs. Our loniceras were always full of aphids.
