Male arctic kiwi, no flowers

keywee(7a KY)April 17, 2012

I have had my arctic kiwi vines for four years now. The female is huge and covered with buds. The male is one-quarter of the size of the female vine and has never flowered. I see no evidence that he will do his job this year either. Any comments?

Mine are opposite - the male is huge and gets cut back quite a bit, while the female is a bit slower. Where did you get them? Are they getting the same amount of sun/rain?
