Fruit lodging means?

I have seen this word in some fruit plant descriptions, but can't find a meaning. Anyone know?

Lodging in corn and other grains crops refers to a condition where the plant leans or falls over. It's often caused by severe weather such as wind or heavy rain. But could also be caused by poor roots or root damage.

A fruit tree could be said to lodge in the same manner. But it's usually just said to be leaning.
