Red Fugi Apple

Puggylover Zone 9B Norco, CAApril 11, 2013

Sup Everyone! :)

Does anyone know the chill hours for Red Fugi? Is it any different from Fugi @ and estimate of 200-400? Is there a difference in taste?

Thanks

Jennifer

More like 500 ch for Red Fuji (a little higher than just the original Fuji). There are several "Red" Fuji cultivars, and several are extremely highly touted. I believe you can search our forum for 'Fuji' (be sure to spell it with a "j" and not a "g") and you'll see some cultivars discussed.

No problem :-) I have both Fuji, and two red Fuji cultivars. They are by far my best apples. They are unbelieveably good. I just planted a Sun (Myra) Red Fuji, since I enjoyed my other Fuji's so much. Really looking forward to those apples! Let us know what you end up with! You should have plenty of ch in Norco for a Fuji.
