Apple Tree Maintenance

Woodstock37April 27, 2013

I purchased a property 15 months ago....3 trees turned out to be not know age, would guess 25-30 + years....probably have never been cut back/ is about 30 ft the other 2 about 18 ft high.....eventually apples in the fall - red....full of spots, I assume there any hope ? How can I learn how to cut trees down to size so that apples can be harvested ? How can I find instruction for saving trees ? Thanks Much,
