Plum cuttings with roots but no leaves?

cyh527April 23, 2014

Two of my cuttings have some roots, not a whole lot but no indication of sprouting. Not sure if these would be successful? Anyone with similar experience? It's been 4 months.

Roots are a very good sign. I'd choose roots over leaves any day.

My experience is limited but I would pot up in small containers and keep in a shady location and not let them dry out. You may have new plant for free. I have rooted a few plums and they did well. Good luck. Bill

How long does it take you guys to finally have leaves out from a rooted cutting?

Not long is not a suitable answer but I would guess within 2-3 weeks if the plants are in a suitable environment. This is just a guess. Good luck
