slate or flagstone look?
We are beginning to renovate the back yard, starting with 140' x 4' high srw block retaining wall. Our middle (lower) tier has a large hex walkway with pathing and a center round bed... the walkway is currently done in gravel & weeds. I was interested in pouring-in-place stepping stones that would look like a flagstone or slate walkway/patio and was wondering what the best way to do that is. I like the look of the irregular patterns/shapes best. We have dad's old cement "cobblestone" path mold that we could use, but I was hoping for larger stone areas than those in the mold. Thanks for any help on mixtures/colors and shaping!
