is this a mulberry plant?

bigshoes213(7 Sardis, Ms)May 18, 2013

This is a large shrub/small tree growing outside our house. It has berries that look like blackberries and does not have thorns. We moved into the house late last year and do not have any information about the tree. I think it is a mulberry plant but do not want to just go around taste testing unfamiliar berries.

Thanks for any info
Christina
