Old Pear

Another old tree, this one a pear. Same thing, very little fruit, this year there donôt even seem to be very many leaves.

Your thoughts/advice?

I had a similar issue a few years ago. My tree did produce quite a few wonderful pears last year, but I didn't visit the tree during a crucial week and they all ripened mid-July and fell and the wasps demolished them.
