Eva's Pride Peach

Puggylover Zone 9B Norco, CAMay 9, 2014

Good Morning Everyone!

Eva's pride peach is ripening up! WooHoo!

Walked out last night after work to find some of my precious peaches on the ground and about fainted. lol

I did not expect them until the end of the month. Tested brix on a couple so far. Lowest was 14, highest was almost 17.

I love this peach and tree. It set so much fruit this year even with my less than 100 chill hours. Highly recommend to all the Southern California members in the low chill area. Awesome tree! This pic was taken 04-22-2014. I will take a new one when I get home tonight!

Thank you Mk. I worked very hard on getting my trees like that. I was a newbee (Still am) so I struggled quite a bit. Through here and reading I think I got the hang of it. I am still trying to understand the renewal pruning thing. Cross that bridge when I get there.
