Anyone tasted these yet. I'm interested in what your opinion is of them.
John, I have a Crimson Crisp tree which gave a few apples last year. Crisp is definitely appropriate to it's name. It is an excellent apple with juicy sweetness tempered with adequate tartness, combined with a crackly snap when you bite it. This year the tree once again has only a few apples, but perhaps it was the freeze in April. Hope this helps. The other variety I have not experienced. Ted
sounds like just what I like in an apple. The crimson R Gold was sent by accident and the company told me to keep it. It's another new apple and I can't find much about it.
