Dwarf vs Semi Dwarf citrus trees?

silent88May 5, 2012

So my parents are getting our landscaping in, and they let me get some citrus trees. We all told our landscaper "semi-dward," but the ones that arrived say, for example "dwarf navel orange tree." I'm not sure if thats what they call semi-dwarf or what... should I complain and get him to get us semi-dwarfs instead? How big do each get? I don't want a tree so small that I barely get any fruit from. But my mom doesn't want it too big. Also I hear dwarfs are harder to take care of somehow?

Dwarf is fine, especially if purchased from Four Winds Growers. You'll be able to plant more trees in the same space for greater variety and successive ripening. Follow the link below for details.
