Spots on my strawberry leaves

mpalermoMay 29, 2012

I went away for the weekend and when I got back, I noticed there are some spots starting to show up on my strawberry leaves. Anyone know what this is?

I see that all the time. The plants growing up through the thick pine mulch seems to have less than others, but I stay ahead of it with water and fertilizer.
Your mulch may be a problem as well. Strawberries are too close to the ground to tolerate a lot of decay activity nearby, IMO. :)

Does this affect the fruit at all? Will it still be edible?
