I'm finally well defended from the borers and now this! I'm pretty sure this is white peach scale! What do I do? It's all over one side of the main leader branch.
Wow, that's an amazing scale infestation.
I'd get something rough and scrape off all I could. Then I'd spray with oil as much as possible without covering the fruit. I'd probably also hit them now with Bayer Once and Done or another insecticide. The ones I have in my greenhouse are easily killed with oil and insecticides but some scales are resistant especially as adults.
Next winter you need to spray with dormant oil.
Looks like you going to need a lot inverted black electrical tape.

lol You rap tape sticky side outward around tree and bug get stuck the info in that link near bottom. Female crawl male fly. you do same with fly paper just hard to work with stick both sides.
