Help Id a tree

Hi, I bought what it was suppose to be a cherry tree, it bloom beautifully with what they look as cherry blossoms, but when the fruit appear, they had the color and size of the Cherri's , but not the circular form, or the taste, maybe , some of you can help me identify it

Looks like a persimmons to me. Lots of different varities.

Pitanga, or Surinam cherry.
