Peaches are shriveling

crystalsnap(7 / GA)May 29, 2013

Both of my peach trees have had beautiful peaches growing on them. Had is the operative (as you can see from the pic) there are a lot of peaches that have shriveled up. Help...what is causing this???

I'm no expert, but those look like the runts that self-abort and thin themselves out. If that's the case, nothing to worry about, if they come off with gentle tap/pull, I take them out as soon as I know they're runts, in case they pull out/waste even minimal energy. Nothing good can come of them. The big one looks great. Hopefully you got a few of those that should ripen nicely :).

Those are fruits that did not get pollinated. Remove them from the tree.

No need to remove those they are dead, gone, and no drain on the tree. To me they look like they were frozen about a month ago.
