shuffling of bloom times

windfall_rob(vt4)May 4, 2012

I have been unable to log in for a fw weeks and this may have come up.....

But more bizzare spring stuff:

I have apples and pears in full bloom with cherries way behind.

PAtriot blueberry and black currants are just starting to open, they are normally far before apple.

If you start to throw in some other seasonal indicators like asparagus, ramps, fiddleheads, dandelion bloom, or black flies, everything is very disjointed. With many species sticking close to the "calender" year, and others off by 3+ weeks.

IS this holding true for others? And those further south and developed into the season?
