Should I keep this peach tree? Zone questions

luvmyfish(z5 IN)May 7, 2012

I bought a Canadian Harmony peach tree at Home Depot today. I looked online and some sites say it's hardy to zone 5 and some say zone 6. If I keep this, and it gets too cold (below -20) is mulching enough or is it the trunk and limbs that sustain damage from cold? Thanks.

Gotta think that "Canadian" anything is going to at least be hardy to Z5. I think it was developed in Harrow Ontario which would certainly be Z5, I think. No telling how it will actually perform in practice. Its a reasonable bet, though.
