Loquat tree in need of help & care

Silveroak212June 3, 2013

I have a loquat fruit tree, i live in zone 9 on a somehow mountainous terrain. It has always been very slow in growth, but this spring it decided to really grow all out. The problem is its leaves are turning white to yellow in color while the veins remain green. Is it a CO2 deficiency (white deposits)? I really do not know. The soil its in is a mixture of loamy clay. You can see clearly in the picture i attached to this message.

Looks "bleached" perhaps by extra bright days following overcast season.

Should i worry about the sun. "Bleaching" it? Will compost and manure be sufficient in giving the plant what it needs?
