7 apple cluster

thomis(7)June 7, 2013

Just wanted to share. I've only been tending apple trees for 5 years so I don't have a lifetime of experience but this is the first cluster of 7 apples I've seen. Usually not more than 6 in a cluster, right?

You can thin them out to one or two.
These here are Sept.Ruby clustering badly, some drop naturally, not these one's.

I've not seen a cluster with that many so far along and none dropped. Time to thin!

It must be the Octomon of the apple world. Has it gotten plastic surgery to resemble a Red Delicious?
