Is there any where you can find the names of pear trees that are up wright? Then there are pear trees that broad and wide. Is there 2 different categories? If so where can you find the different names for up wright and different names for spreading pear trees? all help would be appreciated

that information will be listed in the variety info under "habit", but you can prune/train into any shape.

Pears like to grow like Christmas trees... You can try spreading them, but it takes some effort.

The nicest form of any pear I grow is Seckel- a very spreading tree (wide crotch angles). Can't think of any others I can say this about except Harrow Sweet. They do tend to be columnar but that's what branch spreaders are for. Even branch spreaders can't make a Bosc grow pretty, however.
