I know Scott has been getting no frost damage on his angel red. Are any of these other varieties that keep coming up nicely rated for flavor worth trying against a wall in northern VA/DC area? I can wrap them up in burlap the first couple winters. I know I hear Wonderful dies back pretty bad so not going to trial that one... but any experience with these? It sounds like EL used to sell a couple of these and maybe Bass has experience with Parfianka?

PS I'm already tryin a bunch of the cold hardy ones... just thought why not try to get away with some of the better tasting ones too in case they turn out more cold hardy than generally reputed?

I did get some dieback on my Angel Red in some of the spring freezes this year. It made it through the winter fine, it was the cold spring weather that caused the damage.
