Blueberry bush

When i planted my first blueberry bush about 3 weeks ago i used aluminum sulfate and everything i have read since says to use ammonium sulfate instead. Was that a bad thing to do? Will my blueberry bush still live?

It'll make it. Don't do it again.Make sure it gets sufficient water as to reduce any chem burns. Mulch it with 3-4 " wood chips to maintain that humidity and don't fertilize with Nitrogen anymore. Hit it with Kelp to max the roots growth. Good luck to you. Ammonium sulfate at bud break, another shot 3 weeks, and latest application june 15 or so. If you cant maintain the moisture in the soils better off being conservative in your N application. Water moves it into the roots, so when you ferrtilize, follow with water. Kelp does wonders, especially in poor sandy soils.
