I have a lot of montmorency cherry seedling growing and would like to graft sweet cherry variety's Is this done of possible

I don't see why not, I've some some sweet to other sour cherries,.. just try.

I would think it would work fine too. I have done several sweets onto other pie cherries as well (not montmorency)
