Time to replant strawberries?

rwr_tdyJuly 31, 2014

Wife bought this a few months ago and so far it has given us two tiny berries. There are a couple new shoots coming out of the crown. I checked the bottom and no roots are coming out. Is it time to replant?

What variety is it?

What are your ultimate plans for strawberries? Do you intend to keep them in containers?

It would be nice if you could get that plant into the ground. It will supply runners for a lot more plants. If they aren't everbearing, they might be done for this year. Container strawberries are a dicey proposition imo.

Nice looking plant. I would leave it. It's not going to get much bigger.
