Papaya help

Floridaflowers12(8)July 29, 2013

Could I grow mangos or papayas in my yard. I live in Florida. Technically I am in zone 8 but I live so close to zone 9 that many zone 9 plants grow hear.

Papayas-yes: treat as an annual. Plant as early as your frost-free date allows. Full sun and lots of manure. You should get fruit by Thanksgiving. Mangoes- maybe not.
