Pear trees

PeterS1938July 5, 2012

I have two pear trees approx 3 years old which have not yet borne fruit but have had a few blooms that came to nothing, but have now developed black leaf ends on last years shoots. They are still in 7ltr pots and wonder if this is a probable cause? However the new shoots are extremely healthy with no problems.I would appreciate some advice on what to do.

Many thanks Peter.

WOW are you sure you mean 7 liter pots? That Is VERY small for a 3 year old pear tree. Is there no where you plant them or a least a bigger pot?
