My apricot & peach & netting report

carol6ma_7ari(zones 6 & 7a)July 30, 2014

Last year the birds and squirrels got all my fruit. The black plastic netting I used (from a big box store) didn't completely keep the critters out and was hard to put on and even worse to take off. This year I got another type of netting, a pale green kind (which didn't snag on everything!) found on an internet site, and was able to foil those varmints. Two dwarf trees, not very old, so not a big harvest. But definitely a harvest for us humans to enjoy.

I think gardenweb doesn't want me to mention brand names, but any netting called "American" might get you to it.

Harvestman, you found my source! And the gardener who told me about it was MrsG47.
