Need advice/help on reason why my fuyu persimmon leaves are turning yellow. My two trees are turning 3 years old these year and is bearing fruit but only a handfull, however I noticed that the leaves started to turn yellow. I water it 3 times a week. I live here in southern california, I bought the persimmons bareroot and overall growth is pretty good they are now 10 feet in height, any advice............

Three times a week seems like a lot unless they are potted or you live in the dessert.

I live about 10 miles inland in San Diego. I water my 4 year old persimmon about once a week. Probably around 15 gallons at a time. It may be too much water.
