Pruning Summer Trees

LilyLover89September 5, 2013

Hi,

I have recently inherited some very overgrown potted fruit trees. I have an apple, pear and cherry tree that I need to prune. I am a bit of an amateur when it comes to fruit trees so any advice on how to prune them and when would be great,

Any and all help would be appreciated!

I've included a link for a great guide to pruning. Another great resource is Michael Phillips 'the apple grower' or his website www.groworganicapples.com. Good luck!
