Spider web in apple tree

des2004(Fl.)September 23, 2012

I have an apple tree that looks like it has a spider web rapped around one of the branchs and leaves. How would one go about getting rid of it with out pesticides. Is this what it is or could it be something else?

Look up tent caterpillars. Grab the limb and run your hand up it killing all the baddies as you go. I just had some on one of my blueberry bushes which was a first.
