Some interesting articles on growing fruit

My links never work but maybe someone else can figure it out.

The most interesting article I checked out here was how pruning back cherry shoots (that season's growth above the cherries themselves) a week before ripening increased the sugar content of the cherries. Seems an easy procedure for home growers to increase fruit quality.
