what is this?

I would like to know what this is. The whole plant looks like thin branches growing out of ground then it becomes the pic.

It looks like an Eleagnus species to me. If its fruiting now it is most likely Autumn Olive.

From what I can see the leaves are opposite rather than alternate and therefore not Eleagnus. I think it's a Lonicera. Maybe L maackii, Amur Honeysuckle. Not edible.
