Best Gravenstein strain for Mid-Atlantic

jwalker5666September 9, 2013

Wanting to add Gravenstein to my apple list but curious if anyone knows if one of the many strains out there is better for the mid-atlantic. I saw that Eastman Antique apples has a strain called East Coast but they don't sell trees or scionwood. Anyone here with experience with the different strains?

The standard one does fine for me. I have October Grav, a late one, but it has not fruited yet.
