Spinosad on fruit?

silent88October 14, 2012

I was just wondering if anyone knew whether or not spinosad was safe to use on fruit trees that hve fruit on them. I want to use it on my citrus trees for leafminers but they have fruits on them. I didn't think it would be a huge deal because I won't be eating the peel but I wanted opinions! Thanks!

If you go to www.fertilome.com you can download a pdf that has the entire label. It shows varying pre-harvest intervals for different fruit, but it definitely allows for spraying the fruit itself.

Below is a link to a google search.
