Seeking macadamia nut tree

fresnogardengalNovember 13, 2013

So recently I've been pondering planting a nut tree of some type in my front yard. I recently became attracted to the idea of planting a macadamia tree as I've heard they make nice shade trees in addition to being one of my favorite snacks (the nuts not the trees of course!). I read that Beaumont macadamia trees due well in central California. Does anyone have any experience planting these? And more importantly do you know where I can buy one? Online is just fine. They just need to deliver to California. Thanks!
