I bought an orchid the other day (Wednesday) and forgot it in my car till this morning...Saturday. Temps here were warm Wednesday but then in the 30's and today. May have gone down more during the night. When I got it it looked fine (has a plastic sleeve around it from the store. A few hours later I looked at the plant and now the flowers look limp. Tag says they are Phalaenopsis orchids and needs to be in bright well lit location. Says to give it 3 ice cubes once a week. I just did that now but not sure if this is the end of the orchids. Do you think I killed them. Any way to remedy the situation. Thanks. I have never had an orchid before. (I'm hoping it is just lack of water) fingers crossed)

The 3 ice cubes a week is just a gimmick to prevent overwatering. There is a long thread about that subject somewhere hereabouts.
I've included some complete culture notes in the link that relate to colder climates. Just give your Phalaenopsis good conditions and fingers crossed your plant will recover without any permanent damage.

Today the leaves are looking yellow. Do you think there is a possiblity it will come back? Should I do anything to it or just sit and wait it out a bit. Thanks for the link.
